According to Odaily, the UK High Court has granted permission to Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, to appeal his extradition case. Previously, the UK High Court had announced in March that it would delay the ruling on Assange's appeal against being extradited to the United States. The UK High Court judge stated that they would give the US parties three weeks to provide assurances, including that if Assange is found guilty, he will not be sentenced to death. It is expected that Assange will continue to appeal his extradition to the United States.
