According to Foresight News, GnosisDAO has initiated a proposal, GIP-98, to invest in HOPR to enhance its focus on privacy. HOPR plans to build a Gnosis VPN, a privacy-centric and decentralized VPN built on top of the HOPR mixnet. The voting on this proposal is set to conclude on April 23.
The proposal includes two stages: the first is to establish a set of VPN libraries and a Gnosis VPN browser extension, followed by future product expansion and user experience work. As part of the investment return on its $1.5 million, GnosisDAO will receive HOPR tokens at a 30% discount.
