According to Foresight News, Tornado Cash developer Alexey Pertsev is set to face trial in the Netherlands on March 26-27. Pertsev returned to the country on Wednesday for his fourth pre-trial hearing, during which the judge assessed whether the prosecution and defense had the necessary evidence. The court will also evaluate if Pertsev needs to be detained again before the trial.
Previously, Pertsev was arrested in August 2022 and detained for nine months. In April, he was released under house arrest, and in May, he was released on the condition that he would not leave the country and would wear a GPS monitoring device.
