According to TechFlow, CoinDesk cited a legal document as saying that the lawyer of FTX founder SBF wants to ask FTX co-founder Gary Wang whether he relied on legal advice when agreeing to a series of loans from affiliated hedge fund Alameda Research.

Prosecutors have been investigating an estimated $200 million to $300 million in loans Gary Wang received from Alameda Research, which he used to invest in venture capital and buy himself a house in the Bahamas.

SBF believed the lawyer's involvement showed he did not realize the company's loan was improper, so it asked Judge Lewis Kaplan for permission to question Gary Wang on the issue.
