The details of the incident are as follows: On October 6, an unidentified person contacted the domain name service provider Dynadot, posing as an authorized Galxe member and using forged documents to bypass security processes. The impostor then gained unauthorized access to the domain account, which they used to redirect users to fake websites and sign transactions that stole their funds. All Galxe smart contracts and technical systems remain secure and protected. It is estimated that approximately 1,120 users who interacted with the malicious website were affected, and approximately $270,000 was stolen. A fund recovery plan is being actively developed with law enforcement and third-party experts.
