Odaily Planet Daily reported that the Ethereum Layer 2 network Metis's proposal to "switch data availability back to Ethereum" has been approved. Metis will re-store all transaction data on the Ethereum mainnet, converting from the off-chain storage layer to the original traditional Optimistic Rollup format, thereby removing layers of complexity from the Metis architecture and enabling complete data availability.
