According to Foresight News, according to CoinDesk, Michael Lewis stated in his new book "Going Infinite" about FTX that Canadian entrepreneur and TV celebrity Kevin O'Leary received $15.7 million from FTX for providing 20 hours of service to FTX, posting 20 social posts, a virtual lunch and 50 signatures. The book stated that O'Leary's role as a spokesperson was questioned by some FTX executives, including its former COO Constance Wang. Despite this, SBF once said that investment is a social network with a million people following O'Leary for financial advice.

In addition, Kevin O'Leary said in an interview with CoinDesk that he is still optimistic about cryptocurrencies, but will not participate in exchanges unless they are 100% compliant. O'Leary mentioned a cryptocurrency exchange called M2 in the interview, which is headquartered in Abu Dhabi and was recently licensed by local regulators in August. O'Leary said that he was not invited to invest by the exchange and did not receive any compensation from them.
