Meta Q3 revenue was $64.601 billion, up 26% year over year and above expectations of about $63.4 billion. Adjusted EPS was $7.40, beating the $6.50 estimate. But a $9.89 billion litigation provision dragged operating profit down 37%, and free cash flow was -$2.12 billion. Full-year capex guidance was raised to $135–145 billion as the company continues pouring money into AI infrastructure. Shares rose 3.4% after hours.
Tesla Q3 revenue was $28.046 billion, broadly in line with expectations. Non-GAAP EPS was $0.48, above the $0.43 estimate. Operating profit was $718 million, down 56% year over year, mainly due to R&D rising from $1.63 billion to $2.761 billion. Free cash flow was $1.531 billion, turning positive from -$1.092 billion last quarter. Shares rose 1.32% after hours to $391.57. Cybercab and Optimus continue to burn cash.
The market bought it this time: Meta delivered 26% ad growth, and Tesla delivered a rebound in automotive gross margin to 18.5%.
