Binance just said: “These wallets? We need to talk.” 💀
Binance will stop processing transactions related to 16 crypto platforms, with restriction batches applied on 7/8, 13/8, and 23/8.
After the corresponding deadline, users will not be allowed to send or receive assets directly or indirectly with the entities on the list.
Notable names include HTX, EXMO, Rapira, Bitpapa, Shelbit, Aban Tether Exchange, A7 Nigeria, and A7 Africa.
Transactions that occur after the deadline may be temporarily held for compliance checks, and the associated wallets may be temporarily restricted.
Notably, some entities on the list have already faced sanctions from the U.S. or the U.K. related to Iranian and Russian networks. In particular, A7 said the amount of money routed through this network last year exceeded $90B.
Binance: “We’re just following compliance.”
Wallet: “But I didn’t do anything.”
Compliance: “That’s exactly what we’re checking.” 💀
Brothers, do you think this is just normal compliance tightening, or is Binance preparing a bigger sweep against risky liquidity sources? 👀
