Binance NFT Minting Rules

Binance NFT Minting Rules

2022-06-21 01:30
This article outlines Binance NFT’s range of enforcement. The NFTs that users want to mint will not be approved, if the review determines that your NFT contains inappropriate content.
1. Sales Settlement Postponement Policy for Standard NFT Collections:
NFT collections may be eligible to be listed under the Premium collection depending on various factors, such as sale volume, trading volume, and the number of followers on Binance NFT and other social media platforms. All other NFTs are listed under the Standard collection.
To deter any possible scams or copyright infringements of NFT creations minted on the NFT Marketplace, Binance NFT will restrict the withdrawal of transaction funds from standard NFT collections as a safety measure.
For Standard NFT collections, creators will be restricted from withdrawing their funds from their first NFT transaction for ten days from the date of the successful transaction.
After 10 days, if the sold asset(s) does not indicate a potential violation of the Binance NFT’s Minting Rules and Terms of Service, users will be able to use or withdraw the funds.
2. Minting Access will be suspended for the next 24 hours, once a user has been rejected by auto-review in minting a regular NFT or creating an NFT collection over 3 times.
If the automatic verification system rejects your NFT collection or NFT, your NFT collection or NFT will not be minted, and users will see an error message. This could happen due to several reasons. For example, the review determines that your NFT contains inappropriate content. Please note that if this happens for more than or equal to 3 times within 24 hours, you will be suspended from minting for the next 24 hours.
3. Mint Access will be suspended for the next 1 hour if a user attempts to change any image more than 10 times within 1 minute, during the minting process of an NFT collection or an NFT.
If you attempt to change an image for your NFT or NFT collection during the minting process more than 10 times within one minute, you will be suspended from minting for the next 1 hour.
4. How does Binance NFT enforce violations?
The penalty for violations is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, the severity of the violation and the user’s previous track record.
Violations include:
1) Fraudulent Collection or Scam Detected:
This NFT is currently banned on Binance NFT and cannot be traded, but can be withdrawn.
2) Copyright Infringement Detected:
This NFT is currently banned on Binance NFT and cannot be traded, but can be withdrawn.
3) Explicit or Sensitive Content:
This NFT is currently banned on Binance NFT and cannot be traded, but can be withdrawn.
4) Stolen NFT Detected:
This NFT is currently banned on Binance NFT and cannot be traded, but can be withdrawn.
5) Others
We may enforce action on a specific asset (e.g., an NFT), a collection of assets (e.g., an NFT collection), or an individual account.
The following is a list of the potential actions Binance NFT will take for content that violates our Rules and Terms of Service.
  • Creator:
    • We may take action at the account level if we find the user has egregiously violated our Rules and Terms of Service or has repeatedly violated them even after receiving warnings.
  • Collection:
    • Removing the collection — if we conclude an NFT Collection has violated our policy, we will require the reported user to remove the listing(s).
    • The reported user will receive an email containing details of the NFT Collection in violation and which policies they have violated.
    • The reported user will then need to remove the NFT Collection in question.
  • NFT:
    • Requiring asset removal — if we conclude an individual NFT has violated our policy, we will require the reported user to remove the listing.
    • The reported user will receive an email containing details of the NFT in violation and which policies they have violated.
    • The reported user will then need to remove the NFT in question.
Types of Penalties:
  • Frozen: For serious violations, Binance NFT will permanently freeze the asset. No actions will be allowed, including trading or withdrawing the asset.
  • Banned: The asset will not be allowed for trading on our platform. However, the user can still withdraw the asset.
Creators will lose all minting access if they receive a third penalty.
Users who believe their account was suspended in error can submit an appeal. This includes permanent suspensions.
To file an appeal, affected users can reach out to Binance customer service with details of their request. If we find the suspension valid after the review, we will notify the affected user of the appeal outcome along with information regarding their violation.
The following inappropriate NFT content will not be accepted by Binance:
  • Use of the Binance logo that has not been officially authorized by Binance.
  • Unauthorized use of personal images (e.g. CZ, Elon Musk).
  • URLs to external websites and communities, as well as any promotion of external platforms cannot be included in the description of an NFT.
  • Content that is harmful, abusive, racially or ethnically offensive, sexually explicit, defamatory, or invasive of personal privacy rights.
  • Content that contains any flags, party symbols, badges, or nazi symbols, as well as any relation to war, death, or massacre.
  • Use of profanity or graphic language in any content.
  • Copied from a third-party platform or gallery (e.g. Google, Baidu).
  • Low-quality images with low resolution.
  • Involving intellectual property rights infringement.
