Apple is reportedly stepping into artificial intelligence (AI) development with its own large language model (LLM) framework named "Ajax". LLMs are the backbone of AI chatbots, with Apple's version being the foundation of its AI offerings. The tech giant is also said to be testing a chatbot, referred to as "Apple GPT", aimed at rivaling OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google's Bard. The project is led by John Giannandrea, head of machine learning and AI, and Craig Federighi, Apple's top software engineering executive. Apple's entry into AI could impact the crypto world if their offerings prove to be revolutionary in aspects like security and trading algorithms. More AI-related announcements are expected from Apple next year.
