After a short-term bottom, the market has entered a healthy consolidation phase. Selling pressure is fading, while bulls are in no rush to increase leverage and chase prices higher.

According to data from Binance and Alternative.me:
BTC is currently trading at $81,282, up a modest 0.65% over the past 24 hours. Compared with the 7-day low of $79,581 and high of $83,404, the price has just moved out of its bottom range. It is still down 2.54% over the past 7 days, indicating a weak recovery.

Open interest in futures rose 1.6% over the past 24 hours to $7.788 billion, but remains down 5.45% over the past 7 days. Together with the low 8-hour funding rate of 0.0059%, this suggests that traders are using leverage cautiously and that market positioning remains healthy.

Market sentiment has cooled considerably. The Fear & Greed Index has fallen to 51, in neutral territory, from 68, or greed, 7 days ago, clearing out speculative positions. Among major coins, BNB has been the steadiest performer, gaining 2.29% over the past 24 hours to $760.02, while open interest rose 2.82%, indicating a relatively clear return of capital.

Today, watch whether BTC can hold its ground and move toward the 7-day high of $83,404. As long as open interest does not surge recklessly, the market remains on solid footing.
