What exactly is blockchain?
Transactions are bundled into blocks. Each block records the hash of the previous block, linking them together into a chain. On October 31, 2008, Satoshi Nakamoto published the Bitcoin white paper, titled “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.”
If someone tampers with a block in the past, its hash changes, and the “previous hash” recorded in every subsequent block no longer matches.
Bitcoin was the first blockchain system to operate on a large scale, and $BTC is the native coin of the Bitcoin network.
