Good afternoon, guys. Today is the first day of the 2049 conference. I wonder if this meeting will break the curse of prices always dropping during conferences. The market-price short I called out in the livestream last night almost had me thinking it would hit the stop-loss, but then an overnight drop actually hit take-profit. The real-time trades I’ve called out in the livestreams over the past few sessions have all been profitable. I don’t know if the market makers are doing me a favor or if my trading skills are just that good—the most likely explanation is that I’ve been lucky!
The aggressive long from last night’s market analysis got in after that drop. This morning’s rebound has been profitable. If you didn’t close it, the price is now back at the entry point. Keep holding if you’re still in; if there’s a chance to add lower down, add near support. If it can’t break lower, it’ll bounce sooner or later.
Bitcoin failed to break through to a new high yesterday and started pulling back. Today, you can continue trading around support and resistance. If you like shorting and have a large position, set a fixed stop-loss to protect yourself in case the price breaks decisively above the previous high!
