🔥 Gold + DXY | London open

🥇Gold is around $4,156 (+0.6%) after bouncing from $4,130, but Friday’s move toward $4,225 didn’t hold. It’s back below $4,160, and the 4H chart is still making lower highs. For now, this looks like a bounce within a broader downtrend.

💸DXY is near 102.30 (+0.35%), after reaching 102.54. As long as the dollar holds above 102.20, gold may struggle to recover.

Levels to watch:
Gold resistance at $4,160 / $4,180 / $4,200–$4,225;
Support at $4,130 / $4,110 / $4,080.

A rejection below $4,160–$4,180, or a 4H close under $4,130, keeps $4,110 and $4,080 in view—especially if DXY holds above $102.20 and pushes toward $102.54. A long setup needs gold to reclaim and hold above $4,180 while DXY rejects $102.50 and falls back below $102.00; first targets are $4,200 and $4,225.

Monday’s London session can bring gap risk. I’d wait for confirmation at the levels and avoid chasing the bounce. Tight risk.
