10 p.m.—my instant noodles have clumped.
CoinDesk said US stocks are tight/sideways while crypto has been pumping, so I smiled and opened $MET , only to find the fees flipping on me—on the first 11 settlements, everything hit the +0.005% floor. In plain terms, the longs are getting paid for nothing. The issue at 8 o’clock, though, suddenly flipped to -0.0283%, so the shorts got the money.
Today’s up 30.55%. The long/short account ratio fell from 1.985 to 1.335. The current price is 0.3799, down from the intraday high of 0.4136—giving back 8.15%. For the first time, someone went the other way with leverage. I actually feel more at ease: if it breaks below 0.3701, I’ll admit they’re winning. Before it reclaims 0.4136, I’m not adding a single share. Do you think this is the main forces hedging, or retail investors taking turns to play tag?
