Omarchy and Alibaba Cloud will collaborate to develop the Omarchy ecosystem, with a grant of USD 1 million per year for three years, equivalent to a total commitment of USD 3 million.

Alibaba Cloud will participate in Omacom Foundation as a founding enterprise sponsor, supporting the development, maintenance, and promotion of Omarchy. The two sides will also build Omarchy China, including CDN, storage services, websites, live events, and local communities.

Omarchy is expected to be integrated with popular Qwen models and services in China. Both sides also plan to collaborate around Qwen Book, an AI Agent computer device positioned to use Omarchy as its operating system.

Qwen Book applies the concept of “OS as Harness,” combining an AI model, operating system, applications, cloud services, and hardware. The supported architecture includes ARM and x86, with the first version based on ARM.

Following Alibaba Cloud’s commitment, the total amount pledged in support for the Omacom Foundation has increased to about $21.7 million.
