$ETH ETH long and short-sides positions have already been opened. If 2722 holds, it’s a short-term opportunity
As for this pullback in ETH, I’m afraid some people will panic and want to cut losses again.
But take a clear look: BTC hasn’t broken down, and the underlying logic for ETH to catch up hasn’t changed. This correction, put simply, is a consolidation-and-cleansing pullback during an uptrend—not a trend reversal.
I entered my long position in two parts at 2721 and 2722, and both are currently in profit. Why am I敢(bold/enough)to enter? Two reasons:
First, the big trend is intact. As long as Bitcoin doesn’t see a breakdown with a decisive break, the logic for ETH’s catch-up move remains. Without any trend-reversal signal, what’s there to panic about?
Second, around 2722, a sideways consolidation with support has formed. Short-term support is effective, and selling pressure has been released quite a bit. At this point, downside room is limited, while there’s still plenty of room upward to play.
My approach is very simple: I don’t bet on a one-way big move. I rely on the support zone and do short-term range trading within the consolidation range to capture swing profits. The first target on the upside is around 2770.
But let me say this upfront: don’t blindly follow just because I’m currently in profit. My position size is light; yours might be heavy. If it dips, you’ll panic. Make sure you set your own stop loss. If it breaks below 2700 and can’t be recovered, that means support has failed—withdraw first, don’t stubbornly hold.
If BTC doesn’t break down, ETH will have chances to catch up. As long as 2722 holds, look for 2770 in the short term. Set your stop loss properly—don’t get carried away.
