In this ONE move, the one who suffers the most is the shorts.

It rallied up to as much as 80% from the 24-hour low, then after pushing higher it gave back 14%. In theory, shorts should’ve accepted it—but they didn’t: the ONE contract fees across 10 exchanges are now all in negative territory.

How ruthless are short sellers’ fees? OKX charges 0.68% per contract for a single period, KuCoin 0.85%—with a $100 short position, you pay 0.85 per settlement. Binance is more moderate, at -0.028%, but the direction is the same: longs collect money, shorts pay fees.

Shorts are betting on a drop back to the starting price level, while longs charge fees for a second push higher. The price has already given back 14%. Both sides are digging in hard—whoever can’t hold out first gets harvested.

Do you think ONE will surge again for a second run and then get squeezed once more, or will it fall back so that shorts get the last laugh?
