💀 Illusion of life: Bitcoin — a “dead cat” in a golden cage

Forget the rebellious spirit of cryptocurrency. That digital pirate who promised to topple the world’s financial dictatorship is finally dead. Big corporations have packaged his decaying corpse in expensive Wall Street suits and put it on display.

Investor Jason Calacanis sparked panic by stating outright: Bitcoin’s current rise above $81,000 is a classic “dead cat bounce.” A dead animal dropped from a great height will still bounce after hitting the ground, mimicking signs of life. But it won’t become alive.

“Institutions took it out of underground punk rock and turned it into faceless store music,” Calacanis pronounces the verdict. There will be no real technological application anymore. Bitcoin is a useless DVD in the Netflix era.

Billionaires like Michael Saylor and Cathie Wood are furiously trying to revive the asset. But they’re only trapped inside an ETF loophole that holds together on blind faith. The current surge is the peak before the abyss. Real Bitcoin is dead.
