The market flipped green today. The big coin (BTC) rose 1.5%, reclaiming 78,000, and Ethereum followed suit—turning the gainers list lively as well.

CVC led the move today, up 37.6% on $29 million in volume. Civic is an old project focused on on-chain identity verification. When an old coin suddenly gets pumped like this, it’s usually either driven by news or by fresh capital—so before chasing it, you’d better figure out whether there’s any real positive catalyst, otherwise you’re just the one left holding the bag.

FIL surged 23%, with $61 million in volume, and among the three it’s the one with the most weight. Filecoin is a leader in decentralized storage. This rally has volume backing it up—it’s not some empty tower in the air. The renewed interest in AI and storage narratives gives it a reason, and that logic makes sense to me.

REZ jumped 22.5% on $42 million in volume. Renzo is part of Ethereum’s re-staking track. It rebounds in tandem with ETH, benefiting from the added elasticity. The theme is fine, but the market cap is small and volatility is high.

My judgment is straightforward: of the three, I only trust FIL—with its leader status, real trading activity, and narrative support. CVC’s sharpest rise is exactly what you should be most cautious about, while REZ is only suitable for a small position and a thematic trade. This move today looks like a broad-based rebound—don’t mistake a day’s activity for a lasting trend.
