Many friends who trade should have gone through this kind of hard-to-bear moment.
You spot a support level, enter a long position with confidence, and firmly believe the market will soon move upward.
But the market shows no mercy. With no warning, a wave of heavy selling comes in, prices plunge sharply, and the position you hold is suddenly trapped.

Before entering, you have already thought through the level, the logic, and the timing. But in the market, no one can predict the moves of large capital in advance. More often than not, even the best analysis cannot withstand a sudden shift in market behavior.

After a position gets trapped, a trader's mindset can easily swing to two extremes.
Either panic and cut losses at a low point, selling exactly when you should have least been selling; or stubbornly hold on, naively believing the market will quickly rebound and get you out.

Here are two very practical ways to deal with it:
✅ If the trap is shallow, do not rush to add to the position to lower your cost. Wait for the market to rebound slightly, and when it approaches a resistance level, reduce the position in batches, easing the pressure little by little. Do not always expect to recover everything in one go.
✅ If you are deeply trapped, never keep adding more as the price keeps falling. Blindly increasing the position will only stack up risk. Keep a close eye on the key support below. Only if support holds do you have a chance for recovery; once the support level is truly broken, you must manage risk in time and not keep holding on stubbornly.

The market is inherently unpredictable. No one gets every entry point exactly right every time.
One bad trade does not mean total failure. Do not let one loss disrupt the trading rhythm you have built over a long time.
Stay calm, adjust flexibly according to market signals, and patiently wait for the market to recover. Step by step, slowly work your way out of the困境.
