【My DOGE Observation Notes: My brain is a bit scrambled, but I want to clarify a few points】

Honestly, watching this round of DOGE has left my brain in a mess.

Last week, when it was still surging upward, I was watching it closely—over seven days it rose by more than 20%. Isn’t that wild? But yesterday it slid back down nearly 3%, and now it’s stuck in the 0.085 to 0.091 range, consolidating in a choppy pattern. My current feeling is: the market’s direction choice is getting close, but I’m not sure whether it’s going up or down.

There are a few points I’m thinking through as well.

First, the trading volume really is active. This isn’t that kind of “price up on thin air” move—real money is moving in there. Are big funds coming in or leaving? I can’t tell; I can only observe.

Second, Bitcoin makes up about 60% of the entire market. That proportion itself suggests that money is still on the mainstream coins. DOGE, as a meme coin, more often follows sentiment.

The Fear & Greed Index is 65—not exactly crazy, but definitely not low either.

Third, the thing I’m most conflicted about: can this actually land in real life?

If you talk about DOGE’s technological moat, there isn’t one. If you talk about ecosystem applications, they’re limited too. What really gets it going is basically sentiment and the Musk effect. From a business-logic perspective, I’m skeptical—what problem does it solve? What value does it create? If it’s only trading on emotion, it will have to be paid back eventually.

But I won’t dismiss it with a single punch either. The meme-coin market will always exist—someone always needs something with high volatility. And the price has dropped from its high by almost 90%, so the emotion bubble has been squeezed out about as much as it can.

My current take is: in the short term, a direction choice is near, and trading volume is the key signal. But in the medium to long term, I don’t think DOGE can carve out an independent trend purely on its own logic—unless there’s some catalyst I haven’t noticed.

So I’m waiting too, to see whether it can break through that 0.091 resistance level with heavy volume.

What are you watching for in this round of DOGE? Do you think there’s still any play left for meme coins driven purely by sentiment? Or do you think the money is still more稳 around BTC and ETH? Let’s chat.
