After a hack connected to Coldcard, the Bitcoin Red Team deployed AI for a large-scale audit of the Bitcoin ecosystem. In just over a day, they identified 4,962 potential vulnerabilities across 390 projects, including dozens of critical ones. However, these are preliminary findings rather than confirmed exploits. The scale shows how sharply AI has accelerated the search for bugs in open-source code.

A new arms race in cybersecurity is beginning. Projects that do not implement continuous AI auditing risk losing to hackers—not because their code is bad, but because they are slower to detect vulnerabilities.
