Ethereum re-staking protocol EigenLayer released the V1 white paper on Twitter, which describes the key ideas that core developers will implement in the first version of the upcoming protocol, including a list of potential EigenLayer modules (such as MEV, sorting). In addition, EigenLayer has also launched the EigenLayer forum to focus on the three topics of EigenLayer protocol, EigenDA development, and middleware research and development.
It is reported that EigenLayer is a protocol built on Ethereum that introduces the concept of re-staking, allowing ETH to be re-staked on the consensus layer. Users who pledge ETH can choose to join the EigenLayer smart contract to re-stake ETH and extend cryptoeconomic security to other applications on the network.
