#Cosmos The cross-chain security of the ecosystem is similar to the shared security of Polkadot. The center (Consumer Chain) can obtain security from the provider chain (Cosmos Hub) (v1), and the consumer chain can choose to obtain security from the consumer chain (v2).

The first version allows the center to use the Cosmos Hub verification node to maintain their security. This is no longer theoretical, and we see that Gravity Bridge plans to maintain security through the Hub. For $Atom holders, they can not only get the income of staking Atom, but also earn income from each chain they protect.

The second version is to select security, which means that the center can be verified by the native token verification node set of the center chain and the Cosmos node set.
