According to Foresight News, Bitmain has released its latest Antminer Kaspa mining machines, the KS5 Pro and KS5. The KS5 Pro has a computing power of 21T and an energy efficiency ratio of 150 J/T, while the KS5 has a computing power of 20T and an energy efficiency ratio of 150 J/T. Bitmain states that the computing power and performance of the Antminer Kaspa series mining machines have increased by over 100% from the KS3 (computing power 9.4T, energy efficiency ratio 372J/T) to the KS5 and KS5 Pro.
Kaspa uses the Proof of Work (PoW) consensus mechanism and adopts the BlockDAG structure and GhostDAG protocol, offering advantages such as instant confirmation, high security, and flexible scalability.
