United States: From 10% to 37% on short-term earnings (less than 12 months). For long-term (more than 12 months) it varies from 0% to 20% depending on your income.
Canada: Only half of capital gains are taxable - between 15% and 33%.
France: 30% flat tax on cryptocurrency profits, no exemptions
Italy: 26% on profits above €51,645.69 per year.
UK: 10% to 20% for profits over £6,000 per year.
Germany: 25% on short-term profits (less than 12 months) for profits above €600 in the year. Long-term profits (more than 12 months) can also be exempted for ordinary investors (private profit).
Denmark: Varies between 27% and 42% of earnings, without exemption.
Sweden: Flat rate of 30% on earnings, no exemption.
Spain: From 19% to 26% depending on the amount of your earnings, there is no exemption.
Portugal: 28% on short-term gains (12 months). Exemption for long-term gains (over 12 months).
Japan: 20.315% regardless of value and term.
