💢 Whale lost access to wallet address that owned 470 million USD ETH
According to Coinbase director Conor Grogan, the whale who owns 250,000 ETH ($470 million), purchased during the Ethereum ICO, is Rain Lõhmus - Founder of LHV bank based in Estonia. However, he lost access.
Conor shared an excerpt from an October 31 ERR News report about a previous Vikerraadio interview with Lõhmus. The director emphasized that this is the owner of the whale wallet he mentioned in February.
As reported by ERR, Lõhmus said he owned a wallet containing 250,000 ETH and had lost the password. Although not too keen on recovering them, Lõhmus is still willing to reward those who can help him recover the password.
The amount of Ethereum stuck in Lõhmus' wallet was once worth up to 1.22 billion USD, when ETH peaked in November 2021. That's not to mention the 6.5 million USD tokens his wallet received from airdrops.
