Michael Saylor: Bitcoin’s return on investment since 2011 has been much higher than that of traditional assets
Michael Saylor, founder of MicroStrategy, said that when one looks at the cumulative return on investment brought by Bitcoin, its superior performance becomes obvious. According to the asset class total return data table shared by Saylor, from 2011 to 2023, Bitcoin’s cumulative return reached 11207985%, with an annualized return equivalent to 147.5%. Compared to traditional asset classes like the US Nasdaq 100 or US large-cap stocks, Bitcoin’s returns are impressive. Both assets, while strong in their own right, have lagged far behind Bitcoin's returns. According to data shared by Saylor, the U.S. Nasdaq 100 Index has risen by 613.7% since 2011, while U.S. large-cap stocks have risen by 315%. (CoinGape)
