According to Techub News, Mt.Gox announced today that the bankruptcy administrator has basically completed the compensation work for most of the bankruptcy creditors.

However, since many bankruptcy creditors have not yet completed the procedures required to receive compensation, they have not received repayment; in addition, due to various problems in the compensation process, a considerable number of bankruptcy creditors have not received compensation for the time being.

In order to compensate these bankruptcy creditors as reasonably as possible, the bankruptcy administrator changed the compensation deadline from October 31, 2024, Japan Standard Time to October 31, 2025 after obtaining permission from the court.
