Ripple has posted a job posting for a new position as a senior manager of shareholder communications, sparking speculation that the company may be preparing to go public.

Ripple announced the news on the careers page of its website. The position's responsibilities include communicating with the company's shareholders and investors, a task primarily performed in public companies.
Ripple writes in the job ad: “Work with the CFO and other senior leaders to build and maintain meaningful relationships with them and provide feedback to current and potential prospects on the company’s product/business strategy and goals, performance, financial condition and announcements. educate shareholders and investors."
The ad is targeting candidates in New York City, Miami and London.
If hired, the candidate would also be expected to "develop strategic plans and key messages" for "existing and potential investors, existing shareholders and financial analysts," the ad said.
The position's responsibilities also include strategic planning for "mergers and acquisitions, investments, liquidity events and other high-impact moments."

The senior manager of shareholder communications will also work with other teams and leaders to "create and update investor materials, including presentations, fact sheets, case studies and analyses," to inform and educate potential investors about the company's prospects and performance, Ripple said.
The selected applicant will also be responsible for Ripple’s investor relations events calendar. This includes managing non-deal roadshows and delivering CEO speeches at financial and cryptocurrency-focused investor and analyst conferences.
Additional responsibilities of this role include managing shareholder, investor and sell-side analyst communications, including drafting quarterly updates and managing shareholder databases/mailing lists and investor/analyst communications databases.
Companies often need to increase communication with shareholders and investors during and after an initial public offering (IPO).
XRP community says Ripple is about to go public
The speculation is led by the XRP community, but it is consistent with predictions in August that Ripple could go public.
It was concluded that the company had a 98% chance of going public.
