If you look at the charts before the start of a #bullrun (e.g. spring 2020), you will see that purely technically the start of a bullrun is not hard to see:
It takes at least six months for the market to recover and start rising before the bubble starts to parabolically inflate.
That is, you don't need to be a tech analysis genius to catch a bullrun.
1. When the market becomes defined and you can easily buy - but few people will wait until that point. By that time everyone is already in #alts , in drawdown, and just dreaming of getting at least to zero.
2. After exhausting trading in a bear market, traders are disappointed and do not see obvious signs of market reversal. They don't believe/are afraid/are angry/they sold out at the bottom, etc., that's about it.
Maybe just not trading now for six months (until spring 2024), and waiting for a market reversal is the best solution for many.
Can you sit in #stablecoins out of the market for six months? Now that would be a challenge.
