On October 3, Bitmain (a manufacturer of BTC mining equipment) sent out a notice that since the company had not yet turned positive operating cash flow for September, it had decided to suspend the payment of a portion of salaries to all employees for September.
Some internal employees confirmed the authenticity of this notice. Bitmain also held a conference in Hong Kong and released its newest miner, the S21.
