According to Foresight News, Sota Watanabe, founder of Astar Network, a smart contract platform in the Polkadot ecosystem, tweeted that the Astar zkEVM testnet will be launched in October and enter the next phase.

Foresight News previously reported on September 13 that Polkadot ecosystem smart contract platform Astar Network has partnered with Polygon Labs to launch the Ethereum Layer 2 network Astar zkEVM. The Astar zkEVM testnet is scheduled to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year, and sETH will be used as the Gas token on the testnet.
