According to the latest information, the address 0x3e9 linked to the FTX attack transferred more than 10,000 ETH (worth $17.1 million) to five different addresses in the last 24 hours. These addresses had been dormant for several months prior to the latest activity.

Between these transactions, 7,749 ETH ($13 million worth) was directed to the Thorchain router and Railgun contract. Additionally, a swap was executed converting 2,500 ETH (valued at $4.19 million) into 153.4 tBTC at an average price of $27,281. This address is expected to show significant activity and will likely continue to transfer ETH to Thorchain.

These events put significant downward pressure on the ETH price, with the market anticipating the launch of Ethereum futures ETFs on Monday, October 2nd. ETH is currently trading just above $1,650.

FTX co-founder Sam Bankman-Fried is set to stand trial in October. This follows his arrest in the Bahamas and extradition to the United States. The trial process will last 6 weeks and will begin with jury selection on October 3.

Bankman-Fried faces a total of seven fraud-related charges. The FTX founder has consistently maintained his innocence to all charges. Despite requests for temporary release, Bankman-Fried remains detained at the Metropolitan Detention Facility.
