🔶 Ethereum ETF is officially approved for listing, but does not support staking?
Ethereum ETF is launched tonight, but the market is so cold? Haven't you reacted yet? 😂
People familiar with the matter said that the issuer is still exploring ways to add staking functions to the existing Ethereum spot ETF, but currently, all Ethereum ETFs cannot be pledged.
Not being pledged is a mixed blessing for the market. The good news is that there is no institutional staking to dilute the market share of other Ethereum ecological projects, but the worry is that the absence of staking will greatly reduce the attractiveness of ETFs, and institutional clients will also consider this factor when buying.
As for the inflow of ETFs, the market is also divided. Market maker Wintermute believes that the Ethereum ETF can attract up to $4 billion in inflows from investors in the next year.
This is lower than the $4.5 billion to $6.5 billion expected by most analysts, which is about 62% less than the $17 billion that the Bitcoin ETF has attracted since it was traded in the United States in the past six months.
Has Ethereum's potential been squeezed out? Perhaps embracing $SOL is another solution that capital has given us🤨
