According to ChainCatcher, the EOS network announced a 250 million EOS staking reward program as part of the network's improved token economics plan.

Under the new reward plan, 85,600 EOS are distributed to stakers every day. The improved EOS staking plan rewards early participants with an initial APY of over 60%. More than 31 million EOS tokens are distributed to stakers each year.
