ETH, SOL and ZEC face three key milestones before 2027
Prediction markets are still anticipating a progression for Ethereum, Solana, and Zcash before the end of this year. However, their bets remain much more cautious when it comes to the closing price as of December 31.
Ethereum maintains around a 70% chance of reaching $3,000 before the end of 2026.
Solana could reach $140, but higher targets quickly become less likely.
Zcash shows the most volatile outlook, with a $2,000 target still very uncertain.
Polymarket remains generally more optimistic than Kalshi about price increases.
Low trading volumes on some contracts can amplify probability swings.
Crypto forecasts for 2026: three very different bets
On September 26, Ethereum was trading at around $2,689, compared with nearly $121 for Solana and $1,543 for Zcash. On the Polymarket and Kalshi platforms, contracts related to these three assets had accumulated more than $31 million in transactions.
These figures correspond to the volume traded since the market open. They do not represent either the sums still committed or the number of participants convinced by each scenario.
Three essential targets are currently in focus:
Ethereum to $3,000, with a probability close to 70%;
Solana to $140, with a probability around 59%;
Zcash to $2,000, with a probability that moved from 41% to approximately 49%.
These figures advance in step with the buying and selling of contracts. They therefore reflect the expectations of a group of bettors at a specific moment, not a market consensus or a fundamental analysis.
