【Beginner’s Guide】How to Install Binance AI Agent Skills? Get Started in 3 Steps

Agentic Wallet / Agent ID have been trending lately, and many people are asking: How exactly do you connect an AI Agent to Binance? Binance has actually packaged its “skills” as modules. For many use cases, such as querying public market data, you don’t even need an API key.

Step 1｜Install the skills
Run this in an AI Agent that supports skills (or ask your Agent to run it for you):
npx skills add binance/binance-skills-hub
After installation, it’s a good idea to restart the Agent, then ask it “What skills do you have?” to confirm they loaded successfully.

Step 2｜Start with public data
Once installed, you can directly check market data and ask basic research questions. It’s best to get the public data workflow running first, rather than enabling mainnet trading permissions right away.

Step 3｜Only set up a key if you need to connect an account (security first)
If you need to check balances or place orders, configure a Binance API key:
• Beginners are advised to practice on the testnet first
• For mainnet: Always use an IP whitelist and minimum permissions, and don’t enable withdrawals
• If possible, use a sub-account with limited funds, and require manual “confirmation” before trades
