BTC GOT REJECTED. ROBINHOOD BOUGHT $25M.

Bitcoin failed to break the $87K resistance again. It was the third rejection around that level since September 23. Then the leverage came out.

BTC dropped into the $83K–$84K area, while crypto liquidations reached $555.6M over 24 hours. $487.2M of those liquidations came from long positions. That looks like a serious leverage reset.

But here’s the part worth watching.
While traders were getting flushed out, Robinhood added approximately $25M worth of Bitcoin to its corporate balance sheet. The company says the purchase is meant to signal its commitment to Bitcoin and the broader crypto ecosystem. The amount is relatively small compared with Robinhood’s roughly $100B market cap. So this is not a massive corporate accumulation event.

But it is still an interesting signal. Especially because U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs also recorded approximately $118.9M in net inflows on October 6, reversing the previous day’s $89.9M outflow.

So the picture is mixed:
🔴 BTC: rejected at $87K
⚠️ Liquidations: $555.6M
🔴 Longs wiped: $487.2M
🟢 ETF flows: +$118.9M
🟢 Robinhood: +$25M BTC

The market is clearly under pressure. But capital isn't disappearing everywhere. Some participants are getting liquidated. Others are still adding exposure.

The real question isn't:
“Is BTC bullish or bearish?”

It's: “Who is selling — and who is buying the dip?”
I’m watching $83K first.

If BTC reclaims $86.5K–$87K, the rejection structure starts to change.
If $83K breaks, the next downside area becomes more important.

Don’t predict the move.
Watch who survives it.
