If you’ve fallen victim to cyber theft and the stolen funds have been moved to a Binance account, please contact
Binance Support and provide the following:
- A detailed description of how the incident happened and when did it happen;
- Screenshots/videos of you logging in to the account. This can help Binance confirm that you’re the owner of the wallet that was being hacked.
- Details of the transaction: which wallet was hacked, and the account that received the hacked funds.
- A list of all the blockchain transactions involved (TxID with clickable links).
How to provide a clickable link for a TxID?
1. Go to the hacked wallet and locate the transaction from the withdrawal history. Copy the TxID.
2. Go to a blockchain explorer (e.g.,
blockchain.com for Bitcoin transactions).
3. Search for the TxID.
4. Copy the page’s URL to share.
Important note:
- Depending on the information provided, Binance may grant a temporary courtesy freeze of any allegedly stolen assets.
- To keep the stolen assets frozen, you must provide a police report within 7 days after contacting Binance Support. Binance may extend the freeze period for you if you need more time to obtain a police report (on a case-by-case basis).
In addition, please ask law enforcement officials to contact Binance via the following methods (depending on their jurisdiction):
