🕵️ 188 trades in 7 minutes: how a Moscow trader reportedly lost $150K through copy trading

A story worth reading if you've ever clicked “Copy Trader.”

⏺ According to Baza, the man was reportedly persuaded for almost a year to join BingX. Eventually, bonuses convinced him to try copy trading.

💬 Then everything happened in just 7 minutes: 188 trades were executed from his account, leaving his wallet almost empty. His losses reportedly reached around 13.5 million rubles.

💬 According to Baza, the partner who referred him allegedly received around $80,000, while the exchange collected approximately $68,000 in fees.

⏺ The man later found dozens of Telegram channels using similar referral schemes and said he believed he had encountered a larger scam network. BingX’s position on the reported case was not known at the time of publication.

The scheme sounds simple: bonus as bait → “experienced trader” as the hook → copy trading as the vacuum cleaner.
The money doesn't necessarily have to be stolen directly - it can be lost through trades, while commissions and referral rewards go to the people behind the setup.

Bottom line:
Сopy trading isn't passive income - it's giving someone else a degree of control over your account. If someone keeps telling you to “just connect” for months, the question isn't only how much you can make, but how much they can make from you.

¿Cómo funciona esta trampa?
El comprador te pide tu dirección Web3 y te transfiere tokens que se llaman IGUAL a USDT, BUSD o tokens valiosos. En tu billetera ves el saldo o la notificación y entregas tu producto.

El problema viene cuando intentas cambiarlos en un DEX o enviarlos a un exchange... ¡El sistema te dice que no valen NADA o que el contrato es falso! Te enviaron una copia sin valor que crearon en segundos.

Evita perder tu dinero siguiendo estos 2 pasos:

​1️⃣ Compara el Contrato Inteligente (CA): "No te fíes solo del nombre o logo del token. Revisa en CoinMarketCap o el explorador de la red que el contrato sea el oficial."

2️⃣ Usa plataformas seguras: "Para ventas y pagos personales, utiliza herramientas oficiales como Binance Pay o el comercio P2P."

No caigas en la trampa de los pagos con tokens clonados o falsos. Los estafadores crean monedas con el mismo nombre y símbolo de tokens reales (como USDT) para enviártelas a tu billetera Web3 a cambio de un producto o servicio.

I've submitted the AKE scam evidence to Binance.

Two months of data, eleven pages: open interest down 96% while price went up 300x, eight vertical moves with no news, funding at the 2% cap on Sunday, and the $0.16 wick that wiped 42% of positions in thirty minutes. Timestamps for every event. Five specific things I've asked them to check that only they can see.

I'm not claiming anything is proven. I'm saying the pattern has no organic explanation and the records to settle it are on their side.

☠️ A trader lost around $600,000 due to a fake Cloudflare CAPTCHA. The phishing page tricked him into running a malicious file with administrator privileges, after which the scammers gained access to the crypto assets stored on his computer.

The phishing link was hidden in the token’s metadata, which is automatically fetched by aggregators such as DexScreener.
