An open source cryptocurrency wallet called Atomic Wallet was hacked on June 3, 2023, and the hackers stole approximately $35 million worth of cryptocurrency from users.

The hack was first reported by several users on Twitter who said that all of his funds had been stolen from his Atomic Wallet account.

ZachXBT, a cryptocurrency scam researcher, also denounced the hack on Twitter. He said that he had found a victim who had lost more than $7 million worth of Tether (USDT) in the hack.

"The five largest losses represent $17 million," ZachXBT tweeted. "My chart is now over $35 million total stolen."

ZachXBT also said that the hackers had stolen a variety of other cryptocurrencies, including BTC, ETH, Tron, BSC, ADA, Ripple, Polkadot, Cosmos, Algo, Avax, XLM, LTC, and Doge.

Atomic Wallet has confirmed the hack and said they are investigating. They have also said that they are working with blockchain analytics and exchange firms to try to track down the stolen funds.

At this time, it is not clear how the hack occurred or how the hackers were able to steal the funds. However, Atomic Wallet has said that they are working to improve their security measures to prevent future attacks.
