$BTC Just Dropped 5%! But Don't Make This Costly Trading Mistake! 🚨

Guys, $BTC has dropped over 5% from $81K, but the derivatives data is showing something interesting. OI has fallen to around 93.8K–94.5K, while the overall long/short ratio remains at 2.74 and funding is still positive at 0.010%. This suggests heavy deleveraging, but long positioning is still crowded, so another squeeze is possible.

Now look at the 12H and 24H liquidation heatmaps. Liquidity below is much heavier than above, especially around $74.6K–$74.9K, with another pocket near $73K. If BTC loses $75,525, those lower zones could become the next targets.

But here's why I'm not chasing shorts. Futures CVD is around -48.5K and spot CVD -9.7K, showing strong selling pressure. However, overall orderbook delta has turned positive at +1.1K, with futures at +1.2K and spot at +314. This could signal a relief bounce, although it doesn't confirm a reversal yet.

Spot money flow also tells an interesting story: 1H is +441 BTC, but 4H is -2,504 BTC and daily flow is -5,746 BTC. Short-term buyers are appearing, but the bigger picture remains weak.

Personally, I think this drop is more about broad risk reduction, AI/US tech uncertainty and profit-taking after BTC's recovery than a direct crypto shock. BTC can recover, but don't ignore the downside risk.

Fed's Beth Hammack said: "I expect that monetary policy will need to move to a restrictive stance to bring inflation back to 2 percent in a timely manner."

My Short Configuration (Only After Rejection)

Current price: around $75.5K–$76K
Recommended entry: $76.5K–$77K
Maximum upper entry: $77.5K
TP1: $74.8K
TP2: $74.0K
TP3: $73.5K
Extended target: $72.9K
SL: $78.3K

Guys, I do NOT suggest opening now. Tomorrow's NFP is a major macro event, due at 8:30 AM ET. Softer jobs data could support BTC, while stronger data could increase pressure.

👉 My confirmation is simple: watch the macro reaction first. I would rather miss a trade than take unnecessary risk before NFP. Protect your capital ✅
