Unbelievable—the hacker who stole around $40 million in assets from the UXLINK project last year is now holding a long position of 30,000 ETH on Hyperliquid!
They went long on 30,282 ETH at $2,134 ($70.25 million), and are currently sitting on $5.62 million in unrealized profit.
◎Why do we say this is the hacker’s address? Because the address that funded the ETH long has a direct funding link to a known UXLINK hacker address: a month ago, the address that funded the ETH long and a known UXLINK hacker address both swept the remaining ETH in their wallets for gas into the same wallet on the same day.
◎After consolidating 11.54 million USDC from multiple sources in early August (a pattern consistent with money laundering), the hacker began trading ETH on Hyperliquid. And the results have been pretty impressive: 6 trades, 5 wins, for a total profit of $5.71 million.
