NEAR Protocol will host a hackathon with a total prize pool of $250,000, payable in NEAR. According to Foresight News, NEAR said on X that the event will run from November 1 at 8:00 AM to November 15 at 7:59 AM (UTC+8), with judging scheduled for November 16–18 and results due by November 19 at 7:59 AM (UTC+8).

The hackathon will focus on building applications for agents, autonomous payments, and cross-chain value transfers using tools including NEAR Intents, NEAR AI Cloud, and Chain Signatures. Participants may enter individually or in teams and must submit a public code repository and a public demonstration on X. The event includes 13 tracks, with judges including Illia Polosukhin, Mert Mumtaz, and Eddy Lazzarin.
