Former Mt. Gox CEO Mark Karpelès warned that Ledger has received multiple reports since December 2025 of tampered hardware wallets with malicious components installed, but has yet to issue a public warning. On March 4, 2026, security researcher Joe Grand reported to Ledger that he had purchased a tampered Nano X through Thailand’s Lazada. Ledger acknowledged the report and said it was conducting an internal investigation. On October 9, a security incident involving devices sold by CryptoBilis, an authorized reseller in Southeast Asia, was disclosed. Karpelès urged Ledger to strengthen its user warnings as similar reports increase and attack methods become more sophisticated. #安全警告 #Ledger #hardwarewallet
