Last time, I wrote about how altseason is identified by the numbers — today, I decided to look into the real-time signs that can help spot the rotation as it happens, rather than only in hindsight📊.

Capital rotation isn’t an instant event, but a process that usually unfolds in several distinct stages.

Here’s what I pay attention to:
— $BTC dominance declines gradually over several weeks, rather than sharply — the first and most reliable signal;
— money flows first into ETH and the top 10 altcoins, and only later, with a delay, reaches smaller-cap coins;
— trading volumes in altcoins grow faster than their market cap — interest leads price, not the other way around.

One nuance I’ve noted: rotation works both ways. The same process later pulls capital back into $BTC when the market shifts into a cautious phase.

I tend to focus on the combination of signals rather than a single metric — none of them on its own provides a reliable signal.

This isn’t investment advice — I’m sharing what I personally keep an eye on.

Do you track capital rotation, or do you simply follow the price of a particular coin?👇
