$DOGE Market Analysis

Current price: $0.0855, 24h change: -2.13%, range: $0.0811–$0.0885, 24h trading volume: approximately $100 million (spot). The price is near the day's low, and the rebound has been weak.

1) At the Asia Digital Assets Summit, Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley candidly said the firm's Dogecoin ETF (BWOW) had performed “very poorly”: listed on the NYSE in November 2025, it had only about $726,000 in assets under management as of October 7, with monthly trading volume of just $51,000 in September. Trading will end on October 14. Institutional interest in pure meme assets is clearly lacking—as a comparison, its sister Solana staking ETF (BBSOL) has already reached $1.3 billion in assets.
2) Against the backdrop of the same events, Grayscale's spot Zcash ETF officially launched. The altcoin ETF wave continues, but the market seems to favor products with staking yields or a privacy narrative over meme coins.
3) Looking at the price action, expectations of ETF-related gains have been fully priced in, and DOGE has become desensitized to ETF news: when 21Shares TDOG was approved earlier this year, the price reaction was similarly muted.

Institutional-channel validation has failed: the ETF “pipeline for incremental capital” has barely worked for DOGE. Momentum is weak after the price fell below the resistance at $0.0885; if the broader market continues to weaken, meme assets have historically seen amplified losses.

Key short-term levels: $0.081 (the 24h low) is the first support below; if it fails to hold, watch $0.075. On the upside, watch for a break above $0.0885 as the first sign of a rebound. Medium-term view: without a new ETF filing or a boost from a Musk-related narrative, DOGE is unlikely to make an independent move and will most likely track BTC with a weak, choppy bias. In a nutshell: don't chase a rebound after a drop; keep the position at the lowest allocation within the meme-coin sector, and wait for signs that $0.081 is holding before reassessing.
